A straightforward guide to our classes, bookings, and studio experience.
getting started
-
-
Our open-level classes are structured to support new-beginners. Our Pilates teachers offer exercise layers that suit all-levels of experience in class.
We encourage you to move intuitively and stick with layering options that serve you best.
-
Bring a water bottle and make sure you’ve got grip socks (we sell them at the studio if you need.) You’ll need a mat for floor classes and are available to hire for $3.
-
You could wear your pyjamas if you really wanted to.
Wear clothing that allows you to move freely and something that you feel comfortable in. We don’t care if it’s a matching set, if it’s inside-out (it happens when you get dressed in the dark lol) or if it’s even activewear.
Just don’t forget your grip socks, please!

We are on Level 1, 1/900 Albany Highway in East Victoria Park (directly above Crow Books).
We work alongside Crow Books’ trading hours, which means access may be closed from Albany Highway in the early morning.
Our studio has direct entry from Iceworks Lane for all class times and is the preferred entrance.
If you are using the Albany Highway entry, head into Crow Books and take the stairs to the right.
Within your class booking confirmation are detailed parking tips, an interactive walking map and images to help you find your way. Please give yourself an extra couple of minutes before your first class to find your bearings.
-
We're a boutique, fully equipped Pilates studio in East Vic Park with a warm, down-to-earth vibe.
Classes are small, the music is good, the teachers are passionate, and there's always a sense of community in the room.
We teach Contemporary Pilates, not off-Method hybrid versions.

If you’re unwell, we kindly ask that you stay home.
Rest up and we’ll see you back on the mat soon. Please cancel any class bookings according to our cancellation policy to avoid fees.
-
If it’s a managed thing or just the usual aches and niggles, you’ll probably be fine in a group class.
If you think you need a bit more TLC, clearance to exercise from your allied health professional and a private clinical Revere Pilates session is the way to go.
Bookings & cancellations
-
Please use Momence to manage all class bookings. DMs, emails, SMS or phone calls to cancel group class bookings are not accepted.
Credits are returned for all class-cancellations, however late-cancellations incur a fee.
AM sessions: 8 hours before class
PM sessions: 4 hours before class
If you cancel within the late-cancellation window, a $10 fee applies.
-
Please don’t cut class. We run a small, tight studio and when somebody no-shows it’s a bummer for the teacher, and for our community.
All no-shows incur a $20 fee.
-
Our Class Cancellation Policy forms part of our studio Terms & Conditions and are always available to view on our website.
-
Peak times and styles can be waitlisted. If your preferred class is full, join the waitlist. If a spot opens up, you can be added up to 60-minutes before the class starts.
If a place becomes available within an hour of class starting, the bookings goes to the first person who responds.
Should you opt-in to the waitlist, it’s assumed that you anticipate attending if a space becomes available. So, if you know you can no longer make it please take yourself off the waitlist.
Studio Etiquette & Experience
-
Yes they’re called grip socks, but they’ve got a more important role to play than keeping you connected to the mat.
You may be surprised (or not) to hear that wearing grip socks in class prevents direct contact with our Pilates equipment, reducing the risk of fungal infections and skin irritation. Socks also reduce pick-up and transfer of dust, dirt and bacteria.
Please wear socks for the health and comfort of others who share the space.

We have mats available to hire for $3.
-
We ask that you keep your phone on silent and tucked away during class so you (and others) can be fully present. Same goes for smart watches, don’t let the haptics and fitness rings take you out of your practice.
-
If you are more than 5-minutes late, you may be turned away and considered a no-show.
class types & teaching style
-
We’re a small, community-focused studio that’s all about helping you move in a way that feels good.
Our small group classes blend technical Pilates with a relaxed, inclusive vibe, and every instructor brings their own flavour to class so it stays fresh and fun.
-
Our Revere the Mat & Revere the Reformer classes are programmed with a combination of classical and contemporary Pilates repertoire.
Our Revere the Burn & Revere the Barre classes are structured differently to give a more intense style workout, with some similarities to a Pilates workout.
Revere the Release is a restorative, slow-flow, influenced by Pilates mobility, long hold stretches and breath work. -
At Revere Pilates, we honour the lineage and legacy of Joseph Pilates’ original work while integrating the evolution of the Method.
Contemporary Pilates takes the foundational systems Joseph developed and adapts them to suit the needs of today’s diverse population.
We're excited about the way Pilates intersects with modern insights into anatomy, biomechanics, and movement science, creating a practice that’s both rooted in tradition and progressive.
-
Yes, but in the best way! Mat Pilates builds strength, mobility, and body awareness using your own bodyweight and small props instead of spring-loaded resistance.
It often feels more grounded, more connected, and gives you a deeper understanding of your own movement.
You’ll still get a workout, we promise.
-
All of our classes are open-level with exercise layering, meaning they’re beginner-friendly while still being challenging for experienced movers.
-
Heck yeah! Pilates is a perfect complement to other training.
It helps with mobility, core strength, injury prevention, and body awareness, making it ideal alongside running, lifting, cycling, yoga, or just life in general. You do you!
-
Our instructors come from a variety of nationally accredited and respected training backgrounds, including Pilates ITC, Breathe Education and Polestar.
Our teachers hold a minimum qualification of Pilates Matwork & Small Apparatus, and others continue to build upon their career pathway with a Reformer certification, or Diploma of Professional Pilates Instruction.
Some of our skilled teachers also have specialised training in Pre & Postnatal Pilates, Scolio-Pilates® and Barre.
We value education and ongoing training, so you'll always be in experienced hands.
